" Is the Word of God, the FINAL AUTHORITY in YOUR LIFE?'

Note: This is the question that I want you to leave with today and evaluate every area of your life by the Word of God.

Note: If the Word of God is not the FINAL AUTHORITY in your life there’s NO NEED to keep coming to church

Why is God's Word so important? Because it contains God's mind and will for our lives (2Ti 3:16, 17).

Note: Everything we go thru in life God says something about it in His word.

It is the only source of absolute divine authority for you as a servant of Jesus Christ.

It is infallible ( incapable of making mistakes or being wrong ) in its totality:

"The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple" (Ps 19:7).

[ God’s Will ] Psalm 119:9 (CSB) 9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping your word.

Quote:

Sin will keep you from the Bible or the Bible will keep you from sin.

Sin takes you further than you plan to go

Sin keeps you longer than you plan to stay

Sin cost you more than you plan to pay

[ God’s Breath & Mind ] 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NLT) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Is the Word of God, The FINAL AUTHORITY in YOUR LIFE ?

All of us

In here today

Have situations going on

In different areas of our lives

And in those situations

The Word of God

Has to be

The FINAL AUTHORITY

In each of those problematic

areas of our life

In other WORDS

You REALLY want to do this

But you got to do

What the Lord

Has told you to do

WHY : Because God ONLY RESPONSE to His WORD

It’s not about

What you THINK

What you FEEL

What you SEE

Your OPINION

And what you BELIEVE

Note: Because what you BELIEVE can be TOTALLY WRONG .

Note: Some people are actually SINCERE but you can be SINCERELY WRONG .

Being the FINAL AUTHORITY

In your life

Is not based off

I’m going to do

What God says to do

When They start doing

Right BY ME

THE WORD OF GOD MUST BE THE FINAL AUTHORITY IN OUR LIFE

NOTE: If we want to see God’s GRACE, BLESSINGS & His PROSPERITY on our lives God’s Word must be the FINAL AUTHORITY in EVERY area of our lives
